Perspectives on Campus: Episode 3

As we've learned in recent weeks, anti-racism changes don't happen overnight. What can educational institutions do to move forward and combat racism on their campuses?

"This widespread belief that the higher one's level of formal education attainment, the less racist they are going to be is not neccesarily true. There is something our formal education structures can be doing...to better prepare students for an anti-racist life after university."

In the 4th episode of POC, Brock student Karyssa discusses the role that educators and educational institutions play in teaching anti-racism. They highlight the importance of having sustained conversations about racism and embedding anti-racism into the fabric of Brock's culture.
