May Communique

Happy May everyone!

Friend --

Welcome Linda Cabral to the OUSA team! This month, Linda started as our Summer Research Intern along with our new Steering Committee. Get to know Linda more here and stay tuned for our Steering Committee intro blogs.

We're sad to say goodbye to our 2018-2019 Steering Committee but ready to get things going with our new team. At the end of the month, we will meet for the first time as a new team and elect our new executives.

We also say goodbye to Deb Lam, our Operations & Communications Director. We wish her the best of luck in her next role and look forward to seeing her at alumni events. You can read her exit blog here. If you're interested in her role, check out our job posting at www.ousa.ca/job

Danny reflects on the past year and says goodbye as OUSA President

"To everyone along the way: it has been an absolute honour to serve as OUSA President this year. To be able to lead an organization that works tirelessly and strategically to advocate for student needs in such an evidence-based and student-driven way has been an incredible experience, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has helped us on this journey."
