Student Advocacy Conference: Report for 2015

From November 30th - December 3rd 2015, OUSA representatives convened at Queen’s Park for OUSA’s annual Student Advocacy Conference. This conference, a staple in the organization’s yearly rotation, is one of OUSA’s most effective lobbying events. This year Steering Committee chose three priorities for the advocacy week: tax credit reallocation, the provincial funding formula, and work-integrated learning. To advance these student priorities, student representatives met with dozens of political staff and government officials. Summarized within this report are the outcomes of the week.
