For alternative text formats within web browsers, please view the following options for different settings:
Apple Computers
Safari browser - ”Safari” tab in menu bar, go to “Preferences.” Select “Appearance,” where you will find preferences for size and fonts.
Google Chrome browser – “Chrome” tab in menu bar, go to “Preferences.” A new tab will open up to Chrome’s preferences page. Under the preferences heading, go to “Under the Hood,” where you’ll find “Web Content.” There you can change font size and custom font setings.
Mozilla Firefox browser – “Firefox” tab in the menu bar, go to “Preferences.” In the “Content” tab you will find preferences for size and fonts.
Opera browser – “Opera” tab in menu bar, go to “Preferences.” Select “Webpages,” where you will find preferences for size and fonts.
Personal Computers (PCs)
Internet Explorer browser – “Tools” tab in the menu bar, go to “Internet Options.” In the “General” tab, you will see “Appearance” on the bottom of the menu, with an “Accessibility” button you can choose to change any accessibility options.
Google Chrome browser – Find the wrench icon usually use for settings next to the address bar. Once you click on it, a menu will appear, go to “Options.” A new webpage will open with an options menu. Go to “Under the Bonnet” on the side. There you will find preferences for size and fonts.
Mozilla Firefox browser – “Tools” tab in the menu bar, go to “Options.” In the “Content” tab, you will be able to choose “Fonts & Colours” to suit your preferences.
Opera browser – “Opera” tab at the top of the browser, go to “Settings” and then “Preferences.” Select “Webpages,” where you will find preferences for size and fonts.
