You may have noticed that the OUSA website is looking a little different these days. When we set out to tackle changes to the OUSA website, we had some fairly narrow parameters within which we could work – one of the things I appreciate about working at OUSA is that we don’t squander our resources; we try to keep our costs as low as possible and best utilize our funds to generate the best possible return for our members. As such, the budget for the project wasn’t enough for a complete redesign. But we were adamant that we could make some small changes to improve your experience.

Thus, the website redesign became more of a remodeling than a complete tear-down. We made changes to the infrastructure of the old OUSA website, reorganized the information to read more intuitively and made some major adjustments to the high-traffic areas of our site.

The effect – the content you access most frequently is prioritized, our submissions and documents can easily be filtered and searched and we’ve made it easier for you to share OUSA content through various social channels.

The site is also responsive, so that you can check out what we’re up to on your smartphone or tablet.

Helping us with the remodeling was The Blog Studio, who worked tirelessly over the last few months to bring this to fruition. The team at The Blog Studio are phenomenal to work with and are highly recommended, so keep them in mind next time you have a web project on the horizon.

Wander over to our contact page to share your thoughts, we’re looking forward to hearing your feedback on the changes. We will continue to update and make adjustments as we go along, so if you have any ideas, shoot us a message. The website is very much an ongoing process, and we are immensely grateful for any thoughts you may have.
