So today was a special day for me.  It was my boyfriend’s and my third anniversary, as in three years dating, not married yet.  Anyway, my boyfriend is in Uxbridge, which is two and a half hours away so we couldn’t be together today at all but we still got to talk on the phone, which we do pretty much every day.  However, I still decided to celebrate a bit and some of my friends were dropping back in around dinner time from Ottawa going to Uxbridge so I thought we could go out for dinner.  So for breakfast I had my three muffins but no milk.  Then for lunch I wasn’t going to have much either until I was snooping around in the fridge and found some leftovers that my friends left from the weekend.  It was some form of pasta with mushrooms and tomatoes and chicken and something green but it was good.  So I’m going to count that as 1 serving veggies, 2 servings grain.  It was free because my friend left it behind (haha Smitty). I just had water to drink all day. Then when we went out for dinner we went to Legendz because they still have their $5.95 meal thing between 4pm and 10pm.  I had a pizza submarine.  I was pretty good.  It also came with a drink so I had ice tea.  I was all set to pay for it when one of my friends that came with me insisted on paying for the meal.  (Thank you JD)  So when I came home I made a smoothie to make up for all the fruits and vegetables that I missed today but planning for going out today.  I again used the peach juice and banana instead of the raspberries so it was cheaper.  I also had a glass of milk.  So my total spending for the day was $3.36 but I had 2 free meals.  My servings that I consumed were 8 servings of fruits and vegetables, 6 servings of grains, 1 serving of milk and 2 servings of meat.
