So this morning I woke up and had some peanut butter and jam on toast, 2 slices, with a glass of milk. Then when I was home for lunch I had a can of Chefboyardee Beefaroni and I made myself up a smoothie. However, I made a few modifications to my smoothie. I took out half of the raspberries and added the juice from the can of peaches I had yesterday and a banana. The juice cost me nothing because I added in the price for the whole can of peaches yesterday and the banana only cost $0.26. So the price of this smoothie was $2.20 but it had an extra serving of fruit compared to the other one. Then for dinner I did up another box of KD and used up the last of the sauce from the BBQ Weiners. I also ended the day with a glass of milk. So my total for today was $7.30. I had 8 servings of fruits, 5 servings of grains, 2 servings of milk and 2 servings of protein. This is the closest I’ve ever come to getting everything in and not going over budget.
