So today my friends and I all slept in until my parents showed up. So to explain why my parents were here is a bit of a story. Essentially, after long debate, they decided that renting a moving truck to bring all my stuff home at the end of the semester was not a good idea and that they were going to start bring my stuff home a van full at a time. So this weekend was their first trip up to get furniture and boxes that I’d packed. They picked this weekend because all my friends would be around to help. So to start off they brought us donuts for breakfast. This was my first donut since about two weeks before the campaign began so I devoured it. (It was a walnut crunch.) Then after moving everything Mom and Dad took all of my friends and I and treated us to lunch for moving all the stuff. We went to Denny’s and I had blueberry pancake puppies with sausage and cheese hash browns and a cup of tea. Also, my Mom brought a chocolate cake to celebrate my birthday which is next weekend (the 27th.) Because all of this was free (thanks to my parents) and we were celebrating my birthday, I decided to go out to dinner with my friends. We went out to Legendz and I had a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce for $5.95 plus tax and I had water with it. Plus tax it was $6.85. When I got home I had a banana and some carrots. So my total for the day was $7.82. I had 3 servings of vegetables, 6 servings of grains, 1 serving of dairy and 2 servings of meat. I also spent the majority of my money on one meal.
