So this morning I woke up at 7:30am so that I could get ready and have breakfast before heading over to help with the School of Music auditions.  I had my regular bowl of miniwheats and my glass of milk.  When people help out with auditions we can eat as much of the catered food as we want at the auditions so I ended up eating a couple slices of the fruit bread, 3 quarter sandwiches with tuna, and about 3 servings of various fruits and vegetables.  I also had two glasses of apple juice.  All of this was free as I was volunteering.  Then when I came home in the late afternoon I had another serving of carrots for a snack.  For dinner I had the leftover KD and some more of the wieners.  My housemate had some friends over for dinner and they offered me a piece of their cake so I ate it.  It was delicious.  I also had another glass of milk with dinner.  So my total food expenditure for the day was $5.11 because I got free lunch.  My food servings that I got were 6 servings of vegetables and fruits, 7 servings of grains, 2 servings of milk and 2 servings of meat, one of which was fish.  I think this is the closest I’ve ever come to getting all my servings in and half of the food was free.
